Yup... Due to my picky-ness on how the current RP is, I wanted to start my own side of Exiled. It may be a bit more tight with the rules, but it avoids stuff I personally dislike as in individual about the current RP. But I wanted to post this to see what you guys think about it, and if I should start it up or let it go like a dream feather in the breeze.
"KraiZide Chains" Crazy Side Chains? KZ Side Chains? A mix of both honestly, with a small spelling twist that fit my style.
Stuff about the KraiZide Chains > Semi-lit RP style, about a paragraph each post, 6-7 sentences. > Please no going more than 2 pages without my word. > A different approach on the plot, with some fixed points here and there... > This will revolve around Exiled still, with a different mindset if you get what I mean.
So what do you guys think? A thumbs up, or a no go?

I agree with the 6-7 sentences (at least), but I think it should go full-blown literate. A few scenarios, like Truth or Dare, don't need more than 1-2 sentences simply because of how repetitive it would get after a while. There actually are a few PMs going around about future plot points already, but I think we could do a better job of it. The last point, I don't get what you mean. Do you mean a darker mood, lighter mood, or something else entirely? I also don't get what you mean by the two pages limit. I think roleplay should be encouraged to go on as long as possible, and putting a limit on it seems a little unfair to the roleplayers. People don't want to get cut off in the middle of something, and waiting for an admin's consent to go on farther could take long enough for any good ideas to go *POOF*. That's assuming you mean what you think I mean. Sure, it would make it easier for people to jump in, but if they missed the 2 page cutoff... Also, it's difficult to know when posts will need to leak over to a second page.

Naw, just an RP in my style, nothing much... Two page limit is so I won't have to read through chunks of RP stuff... I would much rather prefer 1, that's what I was originally going for, but I went with 2 because I was in a rather good mood. And if people wanted to joined, they would have to PM me first for details and all, I feel that it would be a bit more organized that way. Plot right now seems a bit scattered about.

Still, I strongly disagree with limiting the roleplay to two pages. Reading the very first page and then the most recent one/two should be a pretty good rule of thumb for getting up to date on the roleplay. It seems far too restrictive- even on the old website, the roleplays were rather lengthy. That would be trying to write out a whole chapter in a novel in just 10-20 paragraphs. That's pretty limiting for a large number of members, especially if it's just for the convenience of one or two. So are you suggesting that, at least in episodes, we set up plot beforehand with the admins of all the characters (but only inform the admins of the characters directly involved with each plot point so as to avoid spoilers)? That sounds fine, but again, a little restricting. A few major plot points should be good, so that at least people have freedom to move about and get stuff done according to their character's personality.

What I mean is no going over 2 pages without me seeing.... doing 7 pages, like in the lab thread, that's a hunk of stuff to read that I don't want to read personally. As long as I know what's going on without misinterpreting anything. And I'll be going on haitus soon so aftera few long weeks without internet, I don't want to be reading 5+/50+ pages/posts. That's just me. I can be like that. Try to change that habit as much as you want but it won't work. It's the way I am and that won't change by another person, but by myself. (Nighttime and I cant think too well) I want to restrict it a bit. Everyone is off doing their own thing... It drives me nuts.

If you're going on hiatus for a few weeks, it's unfair for those who aren't on hiatus to have to be less active in the roleplay or stop entirely just for a few weeks. I feel like the site will die if we impose a limit such as that. If you don't want to read through 7 pages of roleplay, we could probably either make a compiled version of finished scenarios/episodes in the Archives (all the posts in a scenario/episode in one thread). If that doesn't work, don't read it at all. It's not happening. It's too unfair to active roleplayers who want to continue the roleplay as quickly as possible without waiting days or weeks for one person to catch up.
